The day before NBA All-Star Game, fans will be able to see Flo Rida and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas as both will perform at the Saturday night events. Those events include the popular Slam-Dunk Contest and more skills-based competitions.

J. Cole and Gym Class Heroes were also tapped for the weekend's festivities. They will perform at the first ever All-Star pregame concert. J. Cole, Common and Ne-Yo will also play in 2012's All-Star Celebrity Game.

THE GAME MUST PAY $5MIL

On Tuesday,21 Feb.2012 a North Carolina court upheld a ruling from 2010 that Game must pay $5 million to five Greensboro police officers because of an incident back in October 2005.

The police officers filed a defamation suit against the rapper in 2006, and the $5 million is to compensate for damages. The officers claim that they were slandered and their identities were wrongfully used in Game's DVD "Stop Snitchin’ Stop Lyin’."

Fox8 reports that the footage from the DVD was captured in 2005 when Game and his entourage went to Four Seasons Mall where he was set to perform. However, mall security asked them to leave because they were causing disturbances. When they would not comply, security called the police, who arrested Game for criminal trespassing.

The policemen say that the film was highly edited to make it seem like Game was wrongfully arrested, and was marketed as showing the full arrest.

Each officer will be awarded the sum of $1 million dollars. On top of this they also claimed $10 million in punitive damages, however the appeals court has decided that a new trial will be set to see if this claim is jusitifed.

CHRIS BROWN NOW A ROBBER

Chris Brown can't have his "Birthday Cake" and a free pass, too.

A woman has accused the controversial Grammy winner, who's on probation until 2014 for hitting Rihanna, of grabbing her iPhone out of her hand outside a Miami nightclub last Sunday—and taking off with it!

Miami Beach Police confirmed to E! News that an incident report was filed and the Florida State Attorney's Office is preparing a warrant for Brown's arrest on suspicion of "robbery by sudden snatching."

Duh! Really?!?!

DMX TALKS ON DRAKE,RICK ROSS & J. COLE

DMX

DMX recently visited the Breakfast Club and revealed his dislike for rapper/singer Drake.

When Dark Man X was asked if he liked Drizzy, this was his response: "No," he elaborated, "I don't like anything about Drake. I don't like his f*cking voice. I don't like what he talks about. I don't like his face. I don't like the way he walks. Like, nothing. I don't like his haircut.I might just... Let me shut up, I'll just stop right there."

He also gave his thoughts on two other rappers: Rick Ross is "aight," and J. Cole is "nice."

CHRIS BROWN & RIHANNA,"MAYBE" "MAYBE NOT"

American Idol producers are in talks with Chris Brown and Rihanna about possibly performing together on the show this season, a source close to the situation exclusively told E! News.

"They want Chris and Rihanna to reunite on the show," the insider said. If they were to duet on Idol, it would be their first public appearance together (on purpose, at the same time), let alone their first live collaboration, since early 2009, when Brown was arrested for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

WIZ TALKS ABOUT 'ROLLING PAPERS' AND 'O.N.I.F.C'

Wiz Khalifa

In anticipation for his upcoming album, O.N.I.F.C., Wiz Khalifa shared some words for his Taylor Gang advocates. He thanks all his fans for helping him get to the point he is at, and says pretty much everyone should like whatever they want, don't let others dictate what you like.
He also comments on his clothing choices, and the impact Kush & OJ had on people. He admits that creatively, Rolling Papers wasn't his best work:

"Moving on to the music, I haven’t been this excited about any of my projects ever. I remember when i made kush and orange juice, I listened to it and knew I had created a new genre that wld change music. The mistake i made on Rolling Papers was thinking it was time to move on from that genre not knowing that it had impacted people so much. The album did great numbers, but creatively wasn’t my best work. No regrets though. We live and we learn. So for my fans sake and own personal enjoyment,  Ive gone further into the world we’ve created and elaborated on our genre with the mixtape Taylor Allderdice and of course my sophomore album ONIFC. Im so confident in the artistry and creativity of these projects because so much living went along with them. These aren’t songs aimed to be hits or widely accepted or even understood. Iss for people who live like us and can relate. And informative to those who can’t. Either way we’re inviting mu fuggas deep into our world and I can’t wait. I got new visuals, a new clothing line, and the new show is gonna be amazing. This is for us. Taylor Gang Or Die."

NICKI ON VIBE'S COVER

This shouldn't be surprising anymore I guess, but Nicki Minaj lands yet another cover, this time VIBE's Feb/Mar 2012 issue.
In the interview she discusses making her album Pink Friday, being a woman in the music industry and fashion.

WACHA WEWE?!?! ASHANTI IN DA BUILDING

Forget about the fashion show—for Ashanti, it's all about the skin show!
The "Down for You" singer got jaws dropping when she attended the Falguni & Shane Peacock runway show at New York Fashion Week in a see-through design that left very little to the imagination.

The dress had a see-through front panel with a tiny strip covering her lady parts, but the 31-year-old singer looked totally comfortable and happy to wear it.
Good luck sitting down in that thing, babe! Haha!

A LIGHT ON WILL SMITH

Willard Christopher “Will” Smith, Jr.
est. Net Worth - $200million

American actor, film producer and rapper, Will Smith has an estimated net worth of $200 million. Given his formidable success in numerous arenas of the entertainment industry, the multi-talented Will Smith qualifies as an original “Renaissance man.” Smith was a millionaire before the age of 20. Although Smith initially gained fame as the rap star Fresh Prince prior to the age of 20, (with constant MTV airplay and blockbuster record sales), he cut his chops as an A-list Hollywood actor on the small and big screens in successive years, unequivocally demonstrating his own commercial viability and sturdy appeal to a broad cross section of viewers. In 2004, Forbes estimated his net worth at $188 million. As of Hancock (2008), he holds the record for the actor to star in the most consecutive $100 million-grossing movies.

Smith returns to the Forbes list in 2011 thanks to the Men in Black III where reprised his role as Agent J. Smith had fallen off of the list in 2010 because he took time off to nurture the budding careers of his children Jaden Smith and Willow Smith. Jaden starred in a remake of The Karate Kid which Smith produced (the film earned $360 million). Smith helped Willow with her hit song “Whip My Hair”. A Philadelphia native, Smith was born on September 25, 1968. In 2005, Smith was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for attending a record breaking three premieres in a 24-hour time span. Smith married actress Jada Pinkett-Smith in 1997, together they have had two children: Jaden Christopher Syre (born 1998), his co-star in The Pursuit of Happyness, and Willow Camille Reign (born 2000).

Will Smith & wife Jada Pinkett

Jada Koren Pinkett Smith is an American actress, producer, director, author, singer-songwriter and businesswoman. She has an estimated net worth of $20 million. Standing merely five feet tall, Jada Pinkett Smith is known for her high-energy charm, receiving attention for the spunky role she played in her friend Keenan Ivory Wayans’ Low Down Dirty Shame in 1994.As of January 2009, she has been working on the TNT medical drama Hawthorne, in which she is executive producer and a starring cast member.

VIJANA WENYE "CHEDA" CHAFU KWENYE ULIMWENGU WA HIP-HOP DUNIANI

1. Sean 'Diddy' Combs
est. Net Worth - $500million

Artist formerly known as Puff Daddy built fortune chiefly through clothing line Sean John, record label Bad Boy and Ciroc vodka. Acting gigs, television shows and guest appearances add to coffers.
He’s taken to calling himself “Ciroc Obama,” and with good reason: his vodka deal with beverage giant Diageo could soon land him in some very exclusive company.
Diddy receives an annual cut of profits and a big chunk of cash if Ciroc is ever sold. With the spirit’s value speeding toward $1 billion—on top of stakes in clothing lines Sean John and Enyce, marketing firm Blue Flame and record label Bad Boy.

2. Shawn 'Jay Z' Carter
est. Net Worth - $450million

Beyonce's husband sold Rocawear clothing label for $204 million in 2007; signed 10-year $150 million Live Nation deal in 2008. Holds stakes in New Jersey Nets, 40/40 Club chain, ad firm Translation, cosmetics company Carol’s Daughter and other ventures. His lyrical boasts (“I’m like really half a billie”) appear accurate, at least if you round up.

3. Andre 'Dr.Dre' Young
est. Net Worth - $250million

Superproducer/rapper helped launch careers of Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent. Expanded wealth with Aftermath record label, Beats headphones and HP laptop line. Likens himself to world's first billionaire: "Young black Rockefeller ... gettin' money like a bank teller."
Dr. Dre’s financial star has been on the rise this year. The bulk of his $250 million fortune comes from Beats Electronics, the headphone maker Dr. Dre founded with Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine in 2008.
In early August, handset maker HTC paid $300 million to buy a 51% stake in Beats. Sources say Iovine and Dre each owned a third of the company before the deal; FORBES estimates that Dre will take home $85 million after taxes. The agreement also values his remaining stake at $100 million, which could increase rapidly as the company continues to expand.

4. Bryan 'Birdman' Williams
est. Net Worth - $110million

Unlike the somewhat reclusive Dr. Dre, Birdman makes no secret about his billion-dollar dreams. The New Orleans-born rapper-turned-mogul cofounded Cash Money Records with brother Ronald and inked $30 million distribution deal with Universal in 1998; affiliated Young Money lineup now includes rappers Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
The label’s value has soared with the success of rappers Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, all of whom made this year’s Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, bringing his total net worth to an estimated $110 million (he insists he’s worth more).

Braaaaaaaaaaah! Haha!

5. Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson
est. Net Worth - $100million

Received nine figures for Vitaminwater stake in 2007; spent freely on cars, renovations to mansion formerly owned by Mike Tyson. Cushion remains from catalog, acting gigs and 50 Cent-themed videogames, books, clothes and headphones.Next up: an energy shot called Street King, which promises to feed hungry children—and 50’s bank account.
Future billionaire?! Told Forbes in 2008: "It's probably going to take me 10 years."

NYIMBO NYINGINE JAMANI! KHA!

Umejifunza nini baada ya kusikiliza hii nyimbo?!

L.A REID SURVIVES THE X FACTOR SAGA

L.A Reid

As it turns out, not everyone got the boot from The X Factor.
Music industry vet L.A. Reid survived the reality show's shake-up, signing on for season two of the Fox show, E! News has confirmed.

The Epic Records chairman reportedly signed the contract Friday, according to the Hollywood Reporter , just days after host Steve Jones and judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger got the boot.
There's still no word on who will join Reid at the judges' table, or who will replace Jones just yet, however (albeit a couple of unconfirmed rumors about Beyoncé and Mariah Carey joining the X Factor ranks).

STARS AND THEIR SPORT-TOYS

Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler

After some ups and downs, the Hills honey and the Chicago Bears Quarter-Back are not only engaged for reals, but there's a baby on the way!

Kroy Biermann & Kim Zolciak

The Real Housewife and Atlanta Falcon tied the knot a few months after the birth of their son, Kroy Jr.

Andy Roddick & Brooklyn Decker

Until recently the tennis pro's wife was best known for her Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover. But Brooklyn's not just a pretty face. She's since parlayed her modeling career into legitimate Hollywood success, starring in Adam Sandler's Just Go With It. Talk about a power couple.

Kris Humphries & Kim Kardashian

After a whirlwind courtship, a fairy-tale wedding and 72 days of marriage, the reality star and her New Jersey Nets man called it quits.
Damn! That was a short one.

Minka Kelly & Derek Jeter

The Yankee captain has a long roster of beautiful exes but none have seemed as serious as the Friday Night Lights star. Sports reporters and Hollywood watchers had been predicting a wedding since these two got together back in 2008. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Wladimir Klitschko & Hayden Panettiere

Opposites do indeed attract. She's 21, he's 34. She grew up working in showbiz, he's a Ukrainian heavyweight champion. At 6'6", the boxer essentially towers over the 5'1" actress. Unfortunately, their relationship was knocked out after two years together.

Alex Rodriguez & Cameron Diaz

The Yankee slugger has scored with Madonna, Kate Hudson and now Cameron Diaz. Is he upping his game with A-list performance enhancers?

Rick Fox & Eliza Dushku

The former Laker is quite the ladies man. Divorced from Vanessa Williams in 2004, he's been dating the Dollhouse star since October 2010, but that didn't stop Dancing With the Star's Carrie Ann Inaba from flirting shamelessly when he was on the show. What a fox!

Mike Fisher & Carrie Underwood

While the country cutie had kept her relationship with the hockey star on the down-low, there was certainly no hiding their engagement in December 2009. Seriously, did you see that rock? Hello! In January 2010, the two stepped out for their first red carpet appearance together as a couple and then wasted no time making their way down the aisle in July of that year

Hank Baskett & Kendra Wilkinson

The former Girl Next Door and her footballer beau became engaged when the Philadelphia Eagles WR proposed atop Seattle's Space Needle in November '08. The two tied the knot in a lavish wedding at a certain ex-boyfriend's Playboy Mansion in June '09, but not before her pregnancy. Their first child, Hank Basket IV, was born in December.

Khloé Kardashian & Lamar Odom

See if you can keep up with this Kardashian. After meeting the L.A. Laker over the summer in 2009, Khloé confirmed the romance on Sept. 4, only to take it one very big step forward by exchanging vows with her man just a few weeks later.

Dario Franchitti & Ashley Judd

Life in the fast lane has been good to the actress and her Indy driver hubby. The two met at a friend's wedding in 1999, then tied the knot themselves in 2001 and have been cruising ever since.

Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie

Hilary and her NHL hottie hooked up in 2007 and have been heating things up off the ice ever since, swapping vows in the summer of 2010.

Victoria & David Beckham

The style icon found a way to spice up her life when she hooked up with the hunky soccer star in 1997, married him in '99 and had three equally adorable sons with him. Still going strong—and expecting their fourth child!—Posh & Becks obviously know what they want, what they really, really want.

Tom Brady & Gisele Bündchen

Talk about bad timing! The Patriots quarterback hooked up with Gisele right after his ex announced she was expecting. But Tom's season-ending injury in September 2008 not only gave him plenty of time to spend with John, his son with Bridget Moynahan, but freed him up to pop the question to his supermodel girlfriend on Christmas Eve as well. The toothy twosome tied the knot in early 2009 (twice) and celebrated the birth of their son, Benjamin, in December of the same year.

Rihanna & Matt Kemp

The sassy songbird and the L.A. Dodger outfielder were first photographed smooching in Mexico back in January 2010. And we couldn't have been happier: The baseballer was mature, sensitive and generous. (You know, everything that other guy was not.) Now if only the busy couple could have made their schedules work. As of now, this romance seems sidelined

 Jason Sehorn & Angie Harmon

The former New York Giants player proposed to Angie on national television, while she was a guest on The Tonight Show, in 2000. They've been together ever since—an eternity in Tinseltown terms.
